  • To design and conduct courses on training of Trainers
  • To design and conduct on-site and off-site courses and seminars on ELT management
  • To design and conduct courses to upgrade knowledge and skills for the support of quality English language teaching and learning
  • To conduct research on trainer training and ELT provision at all levels and sectors
  • To provide training and management support in the implementation of innovative ELT projects
  • To set up a directory of ELT experts within the country and at international level

    Profile
    Once a Teacher, Always a Teacher. 27 years in the teaching profession has taken me from preschool to primary, secondary, university and finally a training centre; from mainstream education to special education; from pedagogy to andragogy; from prescribed curriculum implementation to module writing. This journey has also taught me the nuances in coaching students, teachers and heads of school. Hoping to use the knowledge gained through the years to help teachers improve the quality of teaching.

    I have a great passion in education technology which has geared me in the exploration of using technology to improve training for in-service teachers. I have published in various journals and proceedings focusing on the use of technology in teaching and learning of English as a second language

  3. SZARMILAA DEWIE A/P KRISHNAN

    Profile
    Armed with a motto of “Duty is God”, she is a live wire who strives to excel in whatever she undertakes. As an educator, she is passionate about drama and has received numerous awards at both the district and state levels. She has been part of many major initiatives namely Pro-ELT,PPKBIS,DLP,PITO and also a Master Trainer for CEFR. She has conducted several studies on reading habits, language games, the use of English in Malaysia. Her current interest is in educational research programmes using language games, reading and online learning.

    Profile
    a product of the B.Ed (Hons.) TESL twinning programme conducted by the International Languages Teacher Training Institute and the University of Exeter, United Kingdom. Mr Lee started his career as an English language teacher at a primary school before being appointed as the English language FasiLINUS officer serving at a district education office (PPD). He later pursued a Masters degree at University College London, UK. Upon graduation, he was placed at ELTC as an academic lecturer. He is currently attached to the ELT Management Depa
