To plan and manage a centre for e-learning in ELT

To plan and conduct courses on the use of 21st century technology in ELT

  1. Dr. Wagheeh Shukry Hassan

    Profile
    I gained experience as a classroom teacher, curriculum developer and assistant director in a range of national projects (e.g., PPSMI) prior to following a passion to research in ICT and English. Currently, I am teaching teachers about what it means to be a teacher or a learner in the twenty-first century. I am interested in teacher professional learning, the future of schooling, the use of digital technologies in the teaching and learning process, the nature of knowledge, complexity theory and in-service teacher education.

  2. Dr. JASVIR KAUR K. AMAR SINGH

    Profile
    I am an English language trainer with 12 years of experience training primary and secondary in-service teachers and teacher educators on areas related to creative learning pedagogies and andragogy-based training in the teaching of English as a Second Language. Through the development and implementation of relevant and engaging training modules, resources and activities, I dedicate myself to supporting in-service teachers and teacher educators become independent lifelong learners.

Skilled in English as a Second Language (ESL), E-Learning, Lesson Planning, Educational Technology, and Curriculum Development. Strong education professional with a Master’s Degree focused in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language/ESL Language Instructor from Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris.

    Profile
    As an academic lecturer in the Language and Technology Department, my primary areas of work in ELTC include developing ELT course modules as well as training in-service ELT practitioners as part of their continuous professional development. Driven by passion of exploring the frontier of CALL in teacher education, my current work interest include the integration of 21st century skills in designing innovative ELT materials.

  5. Yvonne Lee Ik Yin

    Profile
    I began teaching in 2010 and taught in two secondary schools in Sarawak, namely SMK Saribas, Debak and SMK Tebedu, Serian. I have two years’ experience as an SPM national examiner and three years’ experience as a District Assessor for PT3 for the Examination Syndicates, MOE Malaysia. I joined ELTC in February 2018.
